Cookie policy

A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. This site uses two kinds, and only one of them without asking you first.

Simple Foundry Ltd. Published 6 September 2026.

One cookie is ours: it records the choice you made on the cookie banner so that you are not asked again on every page. Two more are set only on the research page, by the services that deliver and protect the research form there, and they exist to tell people from bots.

_GRECAPTCHAGoogle reCAPTCHA, on the research page onlySpam protection on the research form; set when the form runs its check as you submit. Google describes it as necessary for its risk analysis6 months

That is the whole list. The site has no login, no shopping basket and no embedded social widgets; the research form is the only third-party element it carries, and the two cookies above are set only where it appears.

If you choose "Accept analytics" on the banner, Google Analytics loads and sets the cookies below. It tells us which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from, and how they found the site. We use it to decide what to write next, and for nothing else. Google Analytics does not store your IP address, we have not linked it to any advertising product, and we keep the data it collects for two months.

If you choose "Reject analytics", none of these are set and Google Analytics receives nothing about your visit. The only thing Google receives from this site is the reCAPTCHA spam check on the research form, described above. Both buttons are the same size, on purpose.

Google's own description of these cookies is at support.google.com/analytics/answer/11397207.

None. This site does not carry advertising, remarketing or social media tracking pixels. If that changes, this policy and the banner will change first.

Use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of any page, or the button below, to change your choice. You can also delete cookies through your browser settings; every major browser explains how in its help pages. If you delete sf_consent you will see the banner again on your next visit.
